FO Report: Corona

Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes! Headless photos of my new love:

Finished this baby on Sunday, while M and I were tucked up on the couch, each wrapped in a doona and each slight-to-moderately hungover. I tried it on and decided it was far too tight and I was a fool of a knitter, etc. etc.  M pointed out that I was, perhaps, slightly less responsive than usual, and to perhaps wait a day or so before I decided to rip.

He was right.

This is a really nice top.  It’s much snugger than just about any other knitted thing I’ve made, and I was a bit worried, at first, that it was too snug.  But I’ve worn it to work three times this week and it really isn’t too small at all.  Huzzah!

Oh, you’ll want to see the back:

I love it.  I just love it.  The cables pop, the hood scoops, the neckline flatters and the snug fit is just awesome.

Specs:

Yarn: Bendigo Woollen Mills Classic in…uh, purple. Can’t remember its fancy name.

Pattern: Corona, by CanaryKnits.  A really fantastic pattern.  It’s easy, straightforward and looks rad.  (Fitting note; I made the size medium, which seems about right for a just-shy-of-35 inch bust.  If you’re between 35 and 36 inches, it might be worth going up a size).

Mods: None!  I am Li’l Miss Obedient!

I’m really happy with this.
